1) Exposure to industrial training is an integral part of the curriculum.

2) Every Student have to go under Industrial training in a Star category or any recognised hotel property. Hotels may provide accommodation or not, in case of not providing the accommodation, trainee have to arrange for accommodation on his own.

3) The three months industrial training shall be undertaken into four core areas that is Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, housekeeping & Front Office.

4) Attendance in the training would be calculated during industrial training.. A student can avail leave to a maximum of 15% of the traing period with prior permission of hotel authorities.

5) Once the student has been selected for Industrial Training by the institute, he/she shall not be permitted to undergo training elsewhere. In case student make a direct arrangement with the hotel for Industrial Training, it need to be approved by the institute.

6) Marks would be given on basis of feedback from the training organization in a prescribed Performa.. It will be the student’s responsibility to get feed-back and assessments form completed from all the four departments of hotel for submission to the institute at the end of Industrial Training.

7) The seminar would be conducted by the institute where students have to give a presentation before a panel of experts comprising faculty and external examiner panel. The hard copy of report will have to be submitted to the panel.

8) Failure in completing the Industrial training will be subject to back and student will have to go for another Industrial Training on approval by institute.
